  1. Who created SureCatch?

    2. SureCatch is said to be the brainchild of Mr Toh Lim Mok, the owner of Siow Chiang & Co. Back in 1977, Mr Toh had this vision to create a Singaporean brand that would eventually become an international player in the fishing tackle market.

    Twenty years later, SureCatch was officially launched in 1997, under the guidance of Mr Toh Lim Mok, together with Mr Alex Toh and his team. The brand started off selling fishing reels and rods, before further branching into other types of terminal tackle and accessories. To date SureCatch offers more than 3,000 products to fit the diverse needs of fishermen.

  2. Why did we choose the tag line “What’s biting?” for SureCatch?

    3. In fishing, you never know what you’re going to get, until you reel in that line.

    The charm of fishing is the mystery of the catch, not knowing what’s on the other end of the line until you’ve won the fight.

    “What’s biting?” opens up a world of possibilities, because when you’re fishing, that fish that’s hooked could be a 20 kg GT, a 8 kg Red Snapper or even a 50 kg Sting Ray (or any other fish that you are targetting).
